Clare Goodwin is an artist, astrologer, intuitive reader, educator and psychotherapist. Her artistic resumé and counseling practice have enriched each other for 30 years.
When Clare heard the word “mandala” in 1979, she stepped onto a path that would become a lifelong passion. Her website, created in 1996, is considered a definitive mandala resource.
Clare underwent surgery and radiation for cervical cancer in 1994, and is now cancer free. For five years she produced an art show featuring artists dealing with cancer and established a support group Thriving After Cancer using mandalas and creativity.
Knowing the transformative power of art, Clare created her Making Meaning with the Mandala Correspondence Course in 1996. She happily teaches students around the world from her home on Cape Cod.
Her book Gifts of the Mandala, to be published in 2008, leads the reader on a guided journey of self-exploration.
