Doris Arndt is a mixed media artist who delves into many areas with a
passion. She learned to craft from her mother at an early age and hasn’t stopped
yet.
Doris majored in graphic design, attending the University of Louisville.
She never finished her degree much to the dismay of her parents.
Known for her whimsical style, Doris has shared her love of bookbinding and other skills throughout the US for over 30 years, helping others to express their creative voices. Her work has been seen in numerous books and publications as well as on television.
She loves to play with paint, paper and fabric as well as, metal, wire, beads and leather, exploring new possibilities of form, function and style, all the while trying to not take herself too seriously.
