Australian Rachel Greig earned her first camera by cooking for the shearers at her mother’s property at the age of 10. Her passion for photography continued through school, and in 1994 she graduated from Newcastle Univeristy with a Bachelor of Visual Arts degree, majoring in photography.
During her career, Rachel has worked in live theatre, film and television, travel, editorial and fine art photography. Her photographs have won many awards, including the Australian Photography Kodak Award. Publications that have featured Rachel’s work include: Photography International, Back packers Essentials, Australian Photography, Escape, Australian Camera, Hostel Travel. Her handmade greeting cards are sold worldwide, featuring her distinctive black and white photography.
As Photography Editor for My Reflections magazine, and Creative Editor for Scrapbooking Memories magazine, she shared her photography tips to the papercraft world. Her own scrapbooking and papercrafts have won many awards and are widely published in: Scrapbooking Memories, My Reflections, For Keeps, Scrapbook Creations, Handmade, Stamping & Papercraft, Australian Paper Crafts, Creating Keepsakes, Creative Techniques, Paper Crafts, Memory Makers, Scrapbook Trends.
Rachel designs a range of art rubber stamps and papers, and teaches both photography and papercrafts regularly at conventions.
Rachel resides on the New South Wales Central Coast with her husband Stewart, and two young children Ethan and Zoe.
