Sandy does not like to waste time, so her version of her story is that she is "a multi-medium expert.” She says this with a grin and a shrug of her shoulders. When pressed for more information, she will tell you that she makes art (you name it, she does it), designs craft projects and writes articles for rubberstamp/paper arts books and magazines. She also designs rubber stamps for Judikins and Stamp Oasis.
Since, she says, "the beginning of time” Sandy McCall has been "making art.” Majoring in commercial art, she quickly decided that the field was too restrictive. She was elated to discover that there were companies out there who were willing to pay for original drawings to be turned into rubber art stamps. This set Sandy on a new journey with her art. She saw this as a chance to happily engage in a multitude of mediums and also make a living with her art. Now Sandy teaches art workshops across the United States.
A freelance writer, Sandy has had several articles featured in major publications, made one DVD with Page Sage, and authored four craft books published by F&W’s North Light Books.
